Mb-2 Koa fretless #1589. This distinctive Mb-2 bass features an increasingly rare Koa wood top. This particular Koa is flamed, fifty-year-old, instrument grade wood, seasoned to perfection. The bass features a semi-hollow one piece alder body with an F hole and the integrated thumbrest option. The 34” scale neck is fine maple wood with light bird’s eye figuring. The fingerboard and matching bridge are made from premium Brazilian rosewood. A binding of celluloid faux tortoiseshell compliments the whole composition. A deluxe quality form fit hardshell case (made locally in Los Angeles) is included.
