Mouse 30 Brazilian Rosewood #1566. This unique Mouse 30 bass is about as rare as they come…..this bass features a semi hollow alder body, and an extremely rare Brazilian rosewood top. This is spalted rosewood with a really nice “angel wing” pattern to it. I found this wood at at estate sale in Santa Barbara, California back in the year 2000, and I have saved it all this time for a special project. The wood was about 50 years old when I got it. This is a great sounding bass in addition to the looks, very punchy and articulate, while being thick sounding at the same time. The 30” scale neck is made from black walnut, and the fingerboard is from Ebano, a composite of ebony wood fibers which makes the best, most even sounding fingerboards (plus being ecological).
