Mouse 30 Maple #1533- this fine instrument features a semi-hollow body with a flame maple “drop top” sans binding. The drop top bodies have a substantial arm contour, where the top wood is steamed and then vacuum pressed onto the body. The 30” scale neck is made from eastern birdseye maple, with a lined fretless Goncalo Alves fingerboard, and matching bridge. The strings are La Bella Flatwound 760C (copper wound with a clear nylon outer wrap) for a very warm/round tone. A custom made form fit case form G&G case makers in Los Angeles fits the bass like a hand in a glove.
