Mb-2 Walnut #1590. This Mb-2 bass features a semi-hollow swamp ash body with a premium walnut “drop top” and celluloid faux tortoiseshell binding. The “drop top” is a thin top that is steamed and then vacuum pressed onto the body to produce a generous arm contour. This particular black walnut has warm coloring, and a beautiful open grain quality. The 34” scale neck and headstock are made from maple with a lined fretless Macasser ebony fingerboard, featuring the integrated thumbrest option and matching rosewood bridge. A locally made, G&G Cases custom hard shell case rounds out the package.
