Deep 4 Koa Fretless Bass #1490. This Deep 4 features a semi-hollow alder body, with a curly koa top (from aged stock over 50 years old) and faux tortoise shell binding. The 34” scale neck is a 5 pc. laminate of black walnut with rosewood strips (for a very stable and even sounding neck), and the fingerboard and matching bridge are from ebony. The koa headstock matches the body, with the same faux tortoise binding. A locally made custom form fit case (from G & G in Los Angles California) rounds out the package.
