Mouse 30 Maple #1555. This fine Mouse 30 bass features a semi-hollow alder body, and a one-piece western maple drop-top. One piece tops are quite rare, and I really like this one for its dramatic flame pattern. The drop top is made by steaming the maple wood, and then putting it into a vacuum press, to wrap it around the alder body, producing a substantial arm contour. The 30” scale neck is made from African mahogany with a lined fretless Goncalo Alves fingerboard and matching bridge. The alder body in combination with the mahogany neck produces an overall warm sound, with a sweet top end and punchy midrange. A deluxe quality form fit hardshell case by G&G Case (made locally in Los Angeles) is included.
